Jason S. Vega
A native Californian Jason has continues to be involved in his community by serving on the board of directors and advisory council for organizations such as the National Latino Peace Officers Association, the CSUS Latino Alumni Chapter, and National Hispanic Environmental Council. He has worked as a governmental consultant, lobbyists, in the Secretary of State's office and served as Deputy Director for the California Inaugural Committee 2003 for Governor Gray Davis. Jason Vega is a political and policy consultant, who brings with him experience working at the international, federal, state, and local level. He has worked with both public and private entities on a variety of issues pertaining to the environment, telecommunications, education, law enforcement, healthcare, human rights and economic development. Additionally, Jason has experience in coalition building and managing political campaigns. Jason holds a BA in government with a concentration in International Relations from California State University, Sacramento and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a Certificate of Political Management from the University of Southern California. Jason started his career in the political/policy arena working for the Canadian Ambassador to the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C. and then continued working with the Canadian Embassy, along with the Mexican Embassy and a number of U.S. states, as the Manager for Institutional Advancement for The Washington Center, promoting and advancing various education initiatives ranging from civic leadership to international trade. Jason is also fluent is Spanish and French.
